Development Empowerment Women Association (DEWA) is a non-governmental, not for profit organization established in 1999. The organization was initiated by a women entrepreneurs group comprising of 25 no of women from Lower Dir who were trained during ILO Programme “Training & Employment for Rural Women” on skill of Dress Making & Tailoring, bees keeping and Enterprise Development. The group started working to empower and strengthen the local women through the knowledge and skills acquired during trainings.
