Introduction: SHIFA Welfare Association (SHIFA) is registered under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961, is a non-profit, public benefit entity Organization established in January, 2015 as a humanitarian organization by a group of young Lawyers, social leaders & peace builders of Local Community. Vision: A place of peace, harmony and tolerance with happiness! Mission: To bring all segments of society in a platform for bridging the gaps among the religions, sects, ethnic identities, tribal groups for harmony and peace by encouraging youth through advocacy, mobilization for empowerment of marginalized people especially, older people, children, women and socially excluded groups. Objectives: SHIFA Initiative and contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) focus on seven -7 SDG’s 1,2,4,5, 8, 13, 16 to create demands for its implementation. SHIFA humanizing to youth through advocacy Workshops, seminar, and mobilization programs to take actions for proper implementation of SDG’s and empower marginalized people especially, older people, Children, women and socially excluded groups like Trans , Minorities ,ethnic Minorities to collectively raise voice against the root causes of poverty, inequality, gender based injustices and climate change. SHIFA Successfully Organized in 2 Mega Youth Festival in Khairpur University and IBA Kandhkot Campus, SHIFA sensitizes people in their respective areas for promoting peace through composite heritage and culture. Dialogue meetings/workshop with religious leaders, politicians, teachers, intellectuals, social activists and youth has been held to find a way out to development healthy social relationships among the communities. Students, youth and local artists have been involved to provide a message of peace through cultural festival and painting competition on “culture of peace”. General public, especially women have been made aware of their importance as men and women of dignity and they have been involved in promoting peace on their work places. Exposure visits of places of heritage have broadened the outlook of male and female youth on their common inherited culture and healthy social relationships have been built between both communities. Publications of poster have manipulated a cultural of peace. Provide Free and Fee Based Legal Aid Support through SHIFA penal lawyers to Most Vulnerable Communities including Minorities, Ethnic Minorities, Children, Transgender, GBV and Person with Disable, set early warning system at District Social Welfare Department office and It shows that the inward thoughts of peace living have been used as means of eliminating feelings of religious discrimination.
